Cuñape

What’s it mean?  The word is actually from the language of the indigenous people of here, Guaraní.  The “cuña” is woman, and the “pé” is breast, and it describes the shape of Santa Cruz’s most famous afternoon snack.

How do they make them so delicious?  Just take a look at the recipe:
1 cup flour of yuca (the local potato type veggie)
3 cups fresh local cheese
1 egg
To taste and appropriate texture: salt, milk, water
Mix.  Bake.  Eat and enjoy.  (Go to gym).

Come to Santa Cruz and we can eat them fresh daily for 25c with the coca leaf tea!
